This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

As part of one of the MAS 9 implementations, the customer has a requirement to integrate Sec. Groups and Users to MAS via the SCIM interface (https://developer.ibm.com/apis/catalog/maximo--maximo-application-suite-admin-apis-9-0-x/api/API--maximo--mas-scim-interface#post-1734611641). The plan is to have the identity and access management (IAM) streamlined and centrally managed via their IdP, so Sec. Groups creation and user provisioning would happen via the interface.
One of the observed behaviors is that custom attributes added to the MAXUSER object in Maximo, for example, can't be exposed to the interface, requiring additional configuration or a manual process to have them updated after the data is sent from the IdP via SCIM.
This request aims to allow the SCIM user schema to be updated and reference custom attributes in MAS that can be mapped to either existing or custom attributes in the corresponding IdPs (EntraID, etc.).
