Ability to send a notification before an APIKEY expires

In a recent demonstration of Manage to Siemens Energy the question was asked if an APIKEY in Maximo can be set to expire in, say, 90 days. The answer is yes. The follow up question was how do you notify a sys admin that a key is about to expire. The answer is that in Maximo we don't. There is no notification mechanism associated with APIKEYs. The first we know a key has expired is just after it has expired.

The team I was demonstrating too were not impressed as the wider functionality surrounding our API Keys is good. Having a tick box when generating an API key to indicate that you want a notification 5 days before a key expires is ideal. that way a key can be renewed ahead of time.

Thank you for your suggestion. There is a way to set up an escalation that can send notifications based on the date of expiration and how far in advance you want to be notified. This can be used on any data attribute/object in the system.
