Friendlier Visual Interface

MAS 8 - the color scheme - or lack of - is difficult to see. Since going to MAS8, a number of individuals in our company have mentioned this, so I'm not certain why this has not been suggested before. There's very little contrast on the screen - a great deal of white screen - that makes the visual difficult to see. Not to mention the headaches from struggling to 'see'.

Note: I have adjusted my screen - going to dark mode in Chrome - but that only goes so far.

When I go back to 7.6 for records/historical information, the difference between the two is quite stark - no issues in 7.6.

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

    I am sorry to inform you that our team has evaluated the request and has determined that it cannot be implemented in the near-term.

    These are intentional design changes to align Manage to the IBM Carbon Design System, and the rest of the applications in MAS. While Carbon does have "dark mode" options, the wider group of Maximo applications have gone in a direction of using Carbon's Grey 10 theme. A "dark mode" setting is not currently in the roadmap, but may eventually come. The only recommendation we can give at this time is to use the CSS editing capabilities in 9.0 that will allow you to take complete control of the skin (at your own risk).
