Context:
We are a bilingual institution where our users work both in English (EN) and in French (FR). In our system, the base language is EN and the secondary language is FR – please note a descent part of our users will have default language set to FR.
Issue description:
When a user with default language set to EN creates a SR and enters description in EN and saves the record, other users with default language in EN and in FR can log into the system and view it and the description looks correct.
However, when a user with default language set to FR creates a SR and enters description in FR and saves the record, other users with default language in EN can log into the system but cannot view it since the description displays as ~null~ when viewed in Service desk or Self Serve Start center.
This represents a significant issue in terms of business operations since users with default language set to EN have no idea of what the SR is about because the description just displays ~null~. At least, if the original description was displaying correctly (even if written in FR), EN users would be able to translate if required and understand the SR.
Precondition:
1) MultiLanguage is in use in the system
2) The field Description is set to MultiLanguage is use = True
Known issue:
This is a known behavior impacting any other language than EN in IBM MAS-Manage and a technote was already created to let other users aware of this product feature:

We have been advised to submit a RFE since this is not a bug but a product improvement (please refer to case TS017899856).
Enhancement request:
Please enhance the multi-language functionality for the Description field since it will be a must-have feature to our business and for other users that have expressed the same concern in the past.
