User Security Group Replication to Other Users

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

With the change from Maximo 7.6 to MAS9, the new MAS Core function for handling Users set up vs. the previous WebSphere set up, causes the new MAS Core User to flow to the MAS9 Manage/User module as a new record. This means we cannot longer use the Duplicate an existing User record (and all its Group settings) to that new User.

I understand the new change in the functionality in MAS9, but even though IBM changed the function in MAS Core User to create the User record immediately, in Manage/User Application, there is still an option for "Duplicate User". This is confusing since it seems to be vestigial.

What I am looking for is a new option to take an existing User in MAS9 and mirror their Group selections to another new default User in the system. This will allow us to control the set up of base record information and manage more accurately the assignment of Group Tab Security Group set ups.
