Make align in Library XML functional

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

We have found that the align function for toolbar in pageHeader that is in the Library XML, referenced by multiple application XML, does not function properly.

- In 7.6 in the pageHeader, pageToolbar, toolbarsection was align=”right” – behavior in application, example wotrack or quickrep, is that the toolbar aligns left
- In MAS the same area with same settings does align right, but when updated to align=”left”, remains aligned right

o We tried updating the toolbarcombobox line with an align=”left” as well as updating all other areas where align “left” was indicated.
o We also tried removing align option except on the toolbarsection(line 351,355,358 and then again on the toolbar.

I tried out the User interface customization to input a custom CSS style which seemed to slightly work but is overlapping the #toolbar2-chld_appName style as an attempted work around.

#toolbar2-chld {
display: flex !important;
justify-content: flex-start !important;
float: left !important;
text-align: left !important;
}

    I second this request. The force to right/end alignment of the toolbar icons does not allow for giving the end user an ease of finding and using the toolbar functions. It also then make the icons appear underneath the record saved popup when saving a record.

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

    In the Suite, one of the major design changes was to place the application title and toolbar on the same row. Because of this, the title of the page is start-aligned, and the toolbar is end-aligned. It is likely that we will remove the align function for pageHeader in the future, and will no longer support it.

    If you would like to be involved in the features of these new applications, or other Maximo modernization efforts at IBM, please email smithjor@us.ibm.com to become part of our sponsored user group, which is a program where you and people in your organization become active participants in the Maximo design process, working alongside our design teams to help us create great future experiences for real target users.
