Customize Warning Message Format for Inspection Limit Violations in Maximo Mobile

We would like to request the ability to customize the warning message formatting that appears when an inspection form response violates upper or lower limits in Maximo Mobile.


Current Behavior:

When a user enters a value outside the predefined limits in an inspection form, a warning message appears.

The current message is functional but lacks visual emphasis (e.g., appears in default styling).



Steps to Reproduce:

Create Work Order in Work Order Tracking (e.g., M1467854)

Attach an inspection form with questions that have upper/lower limits

Assign labor (e.g., TST_INSP), change status to M3 – Delivery

Log in via Maximo Mobile

Navigate to Inspections > Start WO inspection > Enter a value outside defined limit

Warning message appears — currently styled plainly

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, so the idea will be closed. The message entered is considered instructions and are for information only. If there's a need to validate/reject the data entered, those can be added as validation to an inspection form and the input will be displayed in red, as error. The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future.
