Background Sync with Auto-Restart Functionality

Improve the sync experience by enabling the following:

  1. Background Sync Support
Allow the sync process to continue even when the application is sent to the background. This ensures that users can multitask without disrupting the synchronization process.

  2. Automatic Sync Resume
In the event of a sync interruption (e.g., network loss), the application should automatically detect and resume the sync once connectivity is restored—without requiring any manual user action.

Value Proposition:
This enhancement would significantly improve user experience, particularly in field or mobile environments where connectivity can be intermittent and backgrounding the app is common. It ensures data integrity and reduces the need for user intervention.

Regarding point 2. As it is now, the app does not resume the update itself if you get the network back after you lost it during an update. Then you have to manually update.

Hello Andre - Item 1 is planned for 9.2 release.

Item 2 is already part of the product for upload, let us know if you are seeing something incorrect about it.

    Thanks!
