These fields are not transactional data. They represent the prompts/questions in an Inspection Form template - essentially acting as labels. The form only becomes transactional when it's filled out as a response. We don't need explicit translation of existing labels; we simply need the template content (questions/labels) to support multiple languages (ie ITEM.DESCRIPTION) .
Thank you for your submission. In general, description fields are not translated in transactional records. What Maximo provides is the translation of labels. If this is a label that is not translated, then IBM should provide those translations. Is it the labels (heading) that is not translated or the description which was entered by a user.
