While Duplicating a location the associated datasheet on work asset getting copy to the New Location and not the Job plan work asset. refer PMR # TS018823309. As a default behavior if it is copying datasheet while duplication location the same behavior has to be also carry by job plan associated work asset Location.

    • "Yes, the current behavior is working as designed. According to the existing code, duplicating a location also copies the associated datasheet to the new location. However, there is no implementation in the code for copying related job plans during this process, which confirms it is functioning as intended. For a more detailed explanation, it would be best to consult the design team responsible for the Location, Datasheet, or Job Plan applications."

  • April 30 Dev/L2 upd(after our call ended, I received an update from the Support Engineer who reached out to the Design team for the explanation):

    • "I spoke to the design team and they provided that this is the correct functionality but they can submit an idea for this functionality to change. They said they would look into it. But they said job plans are not intended to be associated with assets/location records so this is why the duplicates are not copied over. Theres no field to associate a job plan from within the assets/locations application".
