Include a "Service" field on both the Job Plan and individual Job Plan Activities.

The "Service" field is critical for accurately classifying work and enabling meaningful reporting in Maximo. Currently, the Service type must be manually entered at the Work Order level, even when using a Job Plan designed for a specific service. This leads to potential data entry errors and inconsistencies, undermining the value of the Service field itself.
Without pre-defining the Service type at the Job Plan level, organizations risk inconsistent data, making it difficult to analyze work trends, optimize resource allocation, and accurately track costs associated with specific types of service.

Benefits:

- Ensures the correct Service type is consistently associated with Work Orders created from specific Job Plans.
- Eliminates the need for manual selection of the Service type, saving time and reducing the risk of errors.
- Enables more accurate reporting and analysis based on Service types, directly tied to the planned work defined in Job Plans.
- Simplifies the Work Order creation process, especially for routine tasks with pre-defined service types.
This enhancement would allow pre-defining the service type at the Job Plan level, improving data quality and efficiency.

Thank you for your submission. The capability being asked for could be easily configured to behave in the way requested, an additional field on JP crossing over to the WO Service field. This is not something that can be prioritized for the next several releases.
