Equalize the XML response with the JSON output in the Maximo OSCL API

While JSON is the much more lightweight output format, xml is still very relevant and should show the same data like the JSON. So far, very helpful attributes like descriptions of domain values (eg. status_description, devicelass_description) is not part of the response if &_format=xml is being used in the URL. Furthermore, switching to xml output does also not allow relationships in the oslc.select clause.

Sample URL's from Postman:
Example 1 ==> Doesn't work due to rel. in oslc.select:

https://{{var_host}}/maximo/api/os/mxapiperuser?lean=1&oslc.select=*,rel.alluser{*}&apikey={{var_apikey}}&oslc.where=lastname="Rumpl"&ignorers=1&ignorekeyref=1&oslc.orderby="statusdate DESC"&_format=xml

Example 2 ==> works as expected, showing data including domain value descriptions:

https://{{var_host}}/maximo/api/os/mxapiperuser?lean=1&oslc.select=*,rel.alluser{*}&apikey={{var_apikey}}&oslc.where=lastname="Rumpl"&ignorers=1&ignorekeyref=1&oslc.orderby="statusdate DESC"

Example 3 ==> Does provide at least a response, but without domain value descriptions:

https://{{var_host}}/maximo/api/os/mxapiperuser?lean=1&oslc.select=*&apikey={{var_apikey}}&oslc.where=lastname="Rumpl"&ignorers=1&ignorekeyref=1&oslc.orderby="statusdate DESC"&_format=xml

I'm adding this idea because it was one of my questions during a "Maximo Wednesday" call, where I've been asked to do so.
