When I cancel a staged inventory usage (issuance) the stock should be returned to the original BIN (staged qty => current balance)

As a storeroom clerk
I do advanced picking/kitting of the materials and set the status to STAGED
If the materials are not collected, I want to CANCEL the staging/picking (and physically return the items to their original bin).

 

Current behavior:
If an inventory usage (ISSUE type) is created, it can be set to "STAGED". The materials are moved from the original bin to a stage bin.
If the Staged inventory usage is subsequently set to "CANCELED" the materials remain in the stage bin.
I see no obvious way to return the staged-qty to the main inventory

Desired behavior:
Upon cancelation the staged qty should be transferred back to the main inventory bin.

Qty Staged should become 0
Qty Available / Current Balance should increase

    We confirmed on our end that is due to a legacy (custom) database trigger. Once disabled the defect is resolved. Thanks Kim for pointing out its a defect & apologies for wasting your time.

    Thank you for your submission - if this behavior is as you described this should be reported as a defect. We tried to reproduce in the latest version and the item is returned to the original source bin, it does not remain in staging bin.
