Request for Enhancement to IBM for a link to take the user back to the Work Order once the Inspection has been completed.

Title: Add Navigation Link from Completed Inspection Back to Work Order

Request:
The Team would like to submit a Request for Enhancement to IBM for the addition of a direct navigation link that returns the user to the associated Work Order once an Inspection has been completed. This feature would streamline the workflow by reducing the number of steps required to return to the Work Order, improving efficiency and user experience.

Business Justification:
Currently, users must manually navigate back to the Work Order after completing an Inspection, which can be time-consuming and disrupts workflow continuity. A direct link would enhance usability, reduce navigation time, and support faster task completion.

Suggested Implementation:
Include a configurable option or button within the Inspection completion screen that allows users to return directly to the originating Work Order.

    there was a platform change to support breadcrumbs between manage shell and role based application. I don't think it's something that can be backported, although I'd recommend asking it through support ticket to confirm if it's something that can be backported or not.

    Hi all. I'm assuming when you're mention about a work order, you're referring to the classic Work Order Tracking application, so this is already delivered as part of 9.1 release. The ability to use the Go To menu to launch the Inspections role based application and, when clicking complete, return to the classic work order tracking app is already in place. Same feature in Mobile technician was already available, supported and still working as part of existing supported Mobile releases.
