Ability to manage portfolios of objects

The portfolio management application is designed to enable users to create, view, and administer collections of business objects called portfolios, grouping, for example, service requests, assets, or work orders (work orders, activities, changes, etc.). A portfolio is a standalone object with its own defining fields.

Portfolios may be personal or shared at various levels of granularity (by group of persons, by crews, etc.), with permission management allowing either full administration (creation, modification, deletion) or read-only access. The application supports the creation of portfolios related to a specific object—for example, one portfolio displaying a list of assets and another displaying a list of interventions.

Each object within a portfolio contains its own metadata, can be filtered, sorted, or searched, and its data can be modified directly from the tabular view without additional navigation. Portfolio views are configurable to add, remove, or reorder columns, save display configurations. Portfolio includes export options in various formats (CSV, Excel, etc.) as well as printing suitable for operational use. A visual and functional comparison feature between multiple portfolios is provided, enabling the identification of discrepancies, such as between planned work orders and completed work orders.

In a typical workflow, a user selects objects according to specific criteria, configures the display to meet their needs, and saves the view for reuse. The resulting portfolio may be shared with other users according to assigned permissions. In day-to-day use, the user opens a portfolio, applies contextual filters (for example, critical tasks approaching their due date), modifies certain information directly within the view, and exports or prints the result for distribution. In a collaborative context, simultaneous consultation of multiple portfolios and analysis of the differences supports decision-making. All features aim to provide a smooth, ergonomic, and secure experience, adapted to the specific needs of each business role.

The process of creating a portfolio is similar to the process of creating a work queue.
The portfolio management application is intended to handle a set of Maximo objects in the form of a project, in a way similar to how a ticket manager in Jira operates.
