Role-Based Application for Material Requisitions

Desktop Requisitions (MR) are part of the Self Service applications and could be used by many users. Its design is old, and is not built like other "classic" applications, it could be so much easier to use and appealing, today it looks dated. It should be replaced with a desktop role based application, I don't think it needs to be a mobile application. Technicians can raise material requisitions from the Technician mobile application as part of a work order. A new Material Requisitions role-based application should have the ability to charge to GL Account in addition to the asset, location or work order, it would be online only.

    Thanks for your feedback. Removing/reworking Material request to have it widely available, instead of only from the work orders that you have in the list, is already in our plans for 9.2 release. It will become a mobile/RBA module to be used either in desktop or Mobile to submit as well as to approve MRs moving forward.
