Ability to Split Bulk Work Order Print Jobs into Separate Print Jobs with Attachments

Currently, when printing multiple work orders with attachments in Maximo Manage, the system generates a single large print job. This can lead to significant delays in printing, especially when attachments are included, as the resulting file can be very large.

For many organizations, this creates operational bottlenecks:

  • Long delays while a large combined print job is processed

  • Risk of print job failures due to size

Introduce a configurable option that allows bulk work order prints to be processed as separate print jobs (one per work order, including its attachments). This would:

  • Reduce processing time per job

  • Improve reliability by avoiding oversized print jobs

    @richard

    1. By enabling printing in the granular level as per your suggestion I am afraid it would make the process even more tedious than the current stage. For example, if there are 50 workorders an user must click 50 times to print all those work orders.

    2. The other solution is, the user can leverage the flexbility of applying filters to their reports, for example if there are 50 workorders to print with attcachments, a user can apply filter and print 25 at once to increase the speed.

    Interested to know your thoughts on these possibilities.
