360-degree image viewing capability in MAS

Currently, Maximo allows attaching image files (e.g., JPG, PNG) to records via Doclinks, but it does not natively support interactive 360-degree image viewing.

Having the ability to view 360-degree (spherical/equirectangular) photos directly within Maximo applications would be very useful — especially for field operations, asset inspections, or facility management scenarios where spatial context is important.

We would like to suggest adding native support for displaying 360-degree images in Maximo Application Suite (MAS). Ideally, the system should recognize 360-degree image metadata and provide an embedded viewer that allows users to pan, zoom, and explore the image interactively.

This enhancement would improve visualization, user experience, and decision-making within Maximo.

Use Case Examples:

• Field engineers capturing 360° site photos and viewing them directly in work orders or assets.

• Inspection teams reviewing facility conditions without external tools.
