Graphical Assignment – Qualification based visual indicators in Assignment View

Current Behavior:

In the Assignment View tab of the Graphical Assignment application, when a user selects an assignment bar, the system highlights labor resources that match the craft and skill level requirements using shades of blue. However, qualification criteria (e.g., certifications, licenses, training) are not visually represented, which can lead to incorrect labor assignments and compliance risks

Proposed Enhancement:

Introduce visual and interactive indicators for qualification criteria during labor assignment in GA:

On Assignment Bar Selection:

  • Extend the current highlighting logic to include qualification checks.
  • Use distinct visual cues (e.g., icons, overlays, or additional color shades) to indicate whether labor resources meet qualification requirements.
  • This helps user identify the right labor resource upfront instead of waiting for the errors to popup after assigning and saving the GA changes.

Post-Assignment Validation:

  • After assigning a labor to an assignment bar (both, before and after saving the GA changes), display a color-coded status:
    • Green: All qualifications met.
    • Red: One or more required qualifications (of Error exception type) not met for that particular assignment.
    • Yellow/Amber: Warnings for recommended but non-mandatory qualifications (Warning Exception Type qualifications).

ALT+Click Popup/Tooltip:

  • Enable an ALT+Click popup display on the assignment bar to display:
    • The validation error message for the qualification validations, which generally appears when assigning labor in the Work Order Assignment tab

The same principle should also be applied to Graphical Work Week for consistency
