Currently in our system, default is to create all the route stops as children workorders. For example, if we have a pm for an equipment check like an eyewash station and it is associated with a route. Route has 2 route stops (in this case, it's 2 eyewash stations) with no job plan, only asset is specified. PM has a job plan on it. When a wo is generated from pm, it will create 1 parent wo, 2 child wos (for each route stop) and copy over all the tasks from the job plan to all the child workorders. Most of our PMs are designed this way and we are having lot of tasks added on child workorders that should not be.
