ScriptService enhancement for throwing an error

If we just throw (raise) MXApplicationException in Autoscript, user sees error messages like this:

BMXAA7837E - An error occured that prevented the APPBEAN.WOTRACK script for the null launch point from running. psdi.util.MXApplicationException: psdi.util.MXApplicationException: BMXAA4176E - Attribute MYATTRIBUTE does not exist...

- which is not user friendly.

There is service(ctx in APPBEAN/UIBEAN scripts) implicit variable for throwing an error but:

except MXApplicationException as mxe:
    service.error(mxe.getErrorGroup(), mxe.getErrorKey(), mxe.getParameters())

- will cause type casting error. Also it is verbose.


Can we have error(MXException mxe) method in com.ibm.tivoli.maximo.script.ScriptService class, so we can make user see proper error messages?
