Maximo Connector for SAP Applications needs to support JSON data

The Connector for SAP currently does not support JSON data which is preferred by many organizations for integrating systems.  The Maximo integration framework allows users to select to publish in json format via the MAXIFACEOUT.PUBLISHJSON flag.  This flag can be selected on interfaces using the SAP connector, however doing so throws an error on the interface indicating that json is not supported.  The connector java code needs to be updated to parse the interface messaging and apply the logic embedded within the connector for both json and xml.
