SERVICEABILITY - Redesign of the Labor Reporting report (labor_analysis.rptdesign) in IBM Manage

Currently, running the Labor Reporting report (labor_analysis.rptdesign) will generate an output where the Work Order number column contains hyperlinks to the relevant work order on each line. When these hyperlinks are clicked, the user is navigated to the Work Order Details report for that work order.

The problem here is that there is no practical method to navigate back to the original Labor Reporting report via the UI.

Current workarounds includes:

  • "Open link in new tab" option

  • Using Print Report in HTML

  • Labor Reporting report

A discussion is needed on the best way to move forward.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product strategy and roadmap. Therefore, we will not be considering it for inclusion in our product at this time. Thank you again for your feedback.

At present, there is no built-in navigation option to return directly to the original Labor Reporting report after selecting a Work Order hyperlink. This is a current limitation of the report navigation flow.

If you need to access the Labor Reporting report again, the report would need to be re-run from Maximo.
