Life Sciences Requirement: Improvements for Dynamic Checks

For dynamic checks, allow users to select unit of measure when creating data sheets and also enable the "No Adjustments Limit" toggle. This results in a smoother experience when completing work orders with dynamic checks in cases where the unit of measure is already known and where the as found/as left number is the same.

    Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to share your idea with us. We sincerely appreciate the effort and thought behind your proposal. After careful consideration, we’ve determined that this idea is not the right fit for a future enhancement at this time, primarily due to limited acceptance and interest from the broader Life Sciences community. Additionally, the proposal may not align closely with the core purpose of this functionality or its underlying architectural intent.

We truly value your interest and engagement and encourage you to continue sharing your ideas and perspectives with us in the future. Your input is always welcome, and we appreciate your continued participation.

    Certainly.

Problem: when a technician completes a work order with a dynamic check, they must always manually add the unit of measure and both as found/as left data. This requires extra time and input for simple dynamic checks.

Example: a monthly procedure requires the technician record the operating temperature of a device and the humidity of the environment. This will always be in °C/%RH, and As Left will always equal As Found. However, the technician must manually enter the reading twice for as found/as left, and select the units of measure.

Solution: When creating a new data sheet, allow the unit of measure to be selected and enable the "No Adjustment Limit" functionality.

Value/Impact: Technicians spend less time recording simple dynamic checks on work orders and will always use the correct units of measure.
