Many of customers in ISA (and globally also) have already settled down on SAP PM for their basic O&M functions and Asset Master. To position MAS APM, FSM, AIP, RSL, HSE, Condition Insight, and many new capabilities, it's important we enhance our existing Maximo Adapter for SAP to support integration with SAP PM, so that we can get into those SAP PM accounts seamlessly (without disrupting customer's existing investment on SAP PM) and position all new MAS capabilities.
This is very crucial now for us to have this adapter specially to co-exist with SAP PM customers. That way we can sell our Maximo Mobile, Scheduler, Optimizer, HSE, APM solution (Monitor, Health, Predict) etc. without replacing SAP PM ( its a 5 year effort). I have come across all above use cases mentioned with different SAP customers.
We have already developed this interface for a customer! Our primary goal is to eliminate the PM module in the future, so that once the customer has more experience with MAXIMO, this elimination will be a natural progression.
