Parametarization of Reorder formula for each item/inventory couple for supporting main business algorithm.

Hello,

As far as I know, the Reorder action suggests to purchase the minimal quantity for satisfying the MINLEVEL ( Suggested Ordered Qty = MinLevel - Calculated available qty + 1 ).

In some cases, it not enough, it would be better to purchase the quantity for reaching the MAXLEVEL ( Suggested Ordered Qty = MaxLevel - Calculated available qty ).

Of course, the treshold would remain the same (calculated available quantity is below the MINLEVEL). But for some items, we need to order more the minimal qty for :

  • minimizing the number of POs

  • getting a more confortable stock

NB : the "Economic Reorder Quantity" does not help us in that perspective. It's not reliable.

So, in summary, we would like to do this : for each item/inventory, I would like to choose among two possible "Suggested Qty to Order" choice : one choice for reaching maxlevel (suggested qty to order = maxlevel - calculated available qty) or one choice for reaching minlevel+1 (current behavior).
