Download action in List View to download selected records the system should download records in the selected list but not ALL records

Current System Behaviour:

In List View of any applications, we tried to use the Download action in List View to download selected records.
However, the system will download all records in the list but not only selected records.

It creates confusion to user and affect user experience. The Download action does not work with the Select Records option. By design, it downloads all records currently visible in the List View, regardless of which records are selected.

 

Suggested Behvaiour:

The application will only download selected records to download in List View of applications.

    Hi,

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product strategy and roadmap. Therefore, we will not be considering it for inclusion in our product at this time. Thank you again for your feedback.

    Thank you for your submission. This is working as designed. The download buttons behavior is to download all records in the saved query. It does not look at the 'selected' records. You need to first narrow the results using the advanced search.
