Workorder transactions and Pricebook ?

A “Price Book” in IBM Maximo Application Suite is essentially a catalog of rates and charges used to calculate costs for transactions such as labor, tools, services, and materials. It defines the pricing rules that Maximo applies when you record work orders, purchase orders, or other transactions.

The issue is that Maximo doesn't store which price book (and its revision) was used when applying prices to work order transactions, creating an audit trail gap. Maximo retrieves and applies prices from price books But doesn't store the price book reference or version. Transaction tables (LABTRANS, TOOLTRANS, SERVRECTRANS) lack these fields. No way to audit which price book determined the cost.

We wish that is reference for labor transactions that shows in the interface which price book has been used in workorder transaction.
This reference is desired to be in the product, instead of a separate configuration.
It is desirable that it is saved on the transaction and that the current revision of the price book is also saved on the transaction.
This is to be able to follow up and see what was applicable at the given time.
This applies to all types of price books/transactions – LABORATORY, TOOL, SERVICE, etc.
