MAS Manage - To identify attachments availability in all applications without opening the attachments 2

The idea above has been submitted and "delivered"; however, I am not able to see the delivery of this idea.  The original idea "MAS Manage - To identify attachments availability in all applications without opening the attachments" is in delivered status, so I have created a new idea to find out the status of the original idea.  I am on MAS 9.1 and I have added 2 attachments to an asset, a golf cart.  Before I added the attachments, the attachments button looked like a blue lined box with the word "view attachments".  Upon attaching attachments to the record, the button looks exactly the same.  There is no visual indication that attachments have been added to the record.  Nor is there a visual indication of a count of attachments near the button (as the original idea had suggested to be added).  Again, I am in MAS 9.1 and do not see this functionality in the asset record, work order tracking records, etc.  Please respond with an explanation for this.  It has been an ongoing request for probably 10+ years.  Thank you.

Thank you for your submission. As stated in the comments there is a property webclient.enabledoclinkonload that was introduced in 7.5 and enhanced in 9 that will show attached document record count across applications. See the attached screenshot for additional information.

You need to enable the system property webclient.enabledoclinkonload. This property was added in 7.5 when the behavior was changed to not change the icon when attachments exist for performance reasons. If the doclinks query takes 2 seconds for example, opening a record will encounter a 2 second delay. In MAS this was enhanced to show a record count (IE 2 attachments exist in your example).

You can use Maximo Formulae to very easily show a count of attachments using a non-persistent field.
