Ability to easily include LONGDESCRIPTION values in QBR report based on non-persistent attribute

Currently a child object can only be added once on the same level in an object structure (working as designed, technical limitation of Maximo). This makes it hard if you want to include multiple LONGDESCRIPTION values related to the same object within one Query Based Report (QBR). Clumsy workarounds and customizations need to be applied to achieve this (e.g. creating bridge tables or custom views).

It would be a simple solution if you could simple include the non-persistent attributes (e.g. DESCRIPTION_LONGDESCRIPTION) as an attribute in your QBR and the values would be included and shown in your report similar to how it works in the app designer. This would require Maximo to include the right longdescription relationship as a 'join' in the report.

This would allow a user to easily show multiple long descriptions related to the same object in one QBR report. Example to show description, symptom, cause, resolution in one QBR (SR.DESCRIPTION_LONGDESCRIPTION, SR.PROBLEMCODE_LONGDESCRIPTION, SR.FR1CODE_LONGDESCRIPTION, SR.FR2CODE.LONGDESCRIPTION)
