Maximo User Management – Add Additional E-Mail Address for User


Users are synchronized from LDAP. Primary e-mail addresses are populated through the LDAP synchronization process.

Business Requirement
Although users are synchronized from LDAP, there are situations where maintaining more than one e-mail address is desirable. For example:

Name changes (marriage, legal name change, etc.)
Temporary parallel use of old and new e-mail addresses
Support for aliases to ensure notifications continue to reach the user
Externals receiving internal e-mails try to reach out with both addresses. 

Expected Behavior
One of the following should be possible:

Allow multiple e-mail addresses to be maintained in the Maximo User Management application by enabling the creation of additional rows.
If multiple e-mail addresses cannot be maintained manually, provide a supported configuration option in the LDAP synchronization process to define which e-mail addresses or aliases are synchronized into Maximo.
