Preventive Maintenance - View PM Trigger Point - Show the Days to Go before a PM falls due, and whether it is a time frequency or a particular meter that will be the trigger point.

When a PM is due to generate a work order you do not know what the trigger will be for this, whether it is time or one of several meters. If the PM is part of a PM hierarchy one (or more) of the PMs in the hierarchy will be the trigger. A dialog is required - View PM Trigger Point - which opens with a table window showing the PM or the PM in the hierarchy for which the PM is a member and if the PM is time based then a field that calculates the Days to Go before the PM is due, and for each meter the Days to Go before the PM is due. For a PM there can be multiple records both time and meter. We should display the records with the lowest Days to Go figure. The same dialog can be used in a PM hierarchy to show which PM in the hierarchy will be the cause of work order generation.

When you go to generate a work order for a simple PM you can receive the message - BMXAA3191E - PM 1026 is not due yet, or it does not fall within the active season. You cannot easily determine when the PM will fall due. The View PM Trigger Point dialog will also help these simple cases by showing the Days to Go before the PM is due.
