Provide a Hook in the MAS Login process to allow performing of checks on the users before they are logged into MAS

For a customer, we have a requirement where the hourly technicians should not be allowed to login into Maximo if they are outside their shift or if they are not logged into the external clocking application. In order to perform this action , we need a hook on the login process of MAS with the SAML authentication where we can implement custom logic to check the login status of the user in the external clocking application before the user is logged into Maximo. If the user is not logged in to the external clocking application or outside their shift then that user should not be allowed to login to MAS at all.

We have explored the option of writing automation script on the Login Tracking table but with that implementation the user would still be able to log into the system for a short amount of time and this would be a compliance issue for the customer.

    This is a must-have requirement for us to maintain compliance. All applications that may be utilized by hourly associates must ensure clock status is validated in real-time. Solutions must allow or disallow access based on validated real-time clock status for hourly associates.
