Workorders Generated From PMs Written Against a Location (Which Only Has One Asset) Should Only List the Location

Maximo currently adds the asset to any workorder generated by a PM associated with a location if the location only has one asset. This make no sense for our company for we want any work done associated with the location and not the asset. If we wanted the workorder to be written against the asset, we would have made that association on PM. By associating it with the asset, the work is being associated with the incorrect item.

Talking with David Havican, he has written up a spec that would allow this functionality to be deactivated for customers who don't like assets being associated with PM written against locations with only one asset

    This is a duplicate of https://bigblue.aha.io/ideas/ideas/MASM-I-451 which is being planned for a future release. This idea will be closed as we are tracking the other.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Internet of Things
    Product family - Asset Management
    Product - Maximo Asset Management (MAM)

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Asset Management
    Product - Maximo Asset Management (MAM)

    I just reviewed and apparently that enhancement is not in yet to prevent this. I definitely think this needs to be prevented in 7.6

    This should be fixed in the next release (7.6) as they removed this "feature" where an Asset is populated if a Location has only one Asset.
