meter entry - value validation

We have meters set up for our equipment, operators enter meter readings into Work orders for the equipment. The meter have condition monitoring set up ( high and low value warning and action limits). Followup work orders can be automatically generated when a limit is reached ( although we have not activated this yet).
We do run reports for annual trends on the equipment.

Although value limits have been set up in condition monitoring, there is ( or appears to be) no data validation during meter reading entry so in cases of typo-errors during the entry ( missing decimal point or extra digits). the value simply goes in.

Right now, we catch the typo error when we run reports...and contact the operators to make the correction..
