Billing schedule Floating vs. static

Author: Hanna Selkirk
In Maximo Service Provider and the applikation "Customer Agreements (SP)" it is possible to set up a billing schedule for the customer that generates bill batches based on a set schedule.
We have noticed that this schedule is affected by the execution of the previous bill batch since the "Next Bill Date" attribut is not updated until the previous Bill batch is set to "BILLED".
We would like to send in a request for enhancement to make it possible to set the behaviour that you want the schedule to be static and not affected the previous bill batch. A similar konfiguration Maximo has for the set up of Preventive Maintenance records where the attribut PM.USETARGETDATE is used to set if you want the PM to have a Static or a floating schedule, the floating schedule being affected by the execution om the previous PM work order.

Thank you for your submission. There are currently no plans to make this change within the next 2-3 releases.
