VET Event Tracker Filter Enhancement

Product & sub component e.g. Maximo Asset Management or relevant sub component
Maximo Asset Management

Operating system that application server runs on – if in doubt put multiple:

Description (please provide full description of required functionality and how it should behave. Try not to say how it should be implemented behind the scenes):
Extend the existing event tracker to provide additional information so support staff can follow what a user has done.

Please provide the extra information:
Threadid – this would be used to identify the thread that is processing the request – this is important because some requests generate errors but the error log message does not include the information to identify the user who experienced the fault.
Unique recordid – This would be used to identify the record so the administrator can identify the record that was being processed e.g. which row was being processed in a table – this is important because it can be used to debug records with bad data.
Component identifier e.g. button that is being pressed – this is important so support staff can replicate the problem and identify how to resolve it
Data that was being supplied e.g. the new status value when changing status on a record. This will help administrators identify which pieces of code were being executed.
Name/IP address of the Client device – System administrators often look at logs after the event so they cannot check the maxsession table for details of where the user was connected from
