The Maximo is accessible to outside corporate network users.so as a security enhancement Captcha has to be enabled for Maximo.
Description: The users who are going to login into the Maximo system outside the corporate network are forced to enter the Captcha and validated for successful login into the system to differentiate between the BOT and human. Also Possibility to manage the captcha at User Application level.

    IBM takes the security of its software products very seriously. Our Maximo Application Suite offers full integration with a range of Identity Service Providers that include their own DDOS protection measures. This is the predominant way in which most Maximo customers manage this risk.
