Allow users to move columns that are displayed on Work Order Tracking in different order

The FHO business unit has specified 13 columns that must be displayed on Work Order Tracking, which results in users having to scroll right to view all the columns.

Users would like the ability to move the columns they use most often for filtering to the left. Because this preference can vary from station to station and person to person, we would like this to be a individual configuration that is retained when the users log out of Maximo and log back in the next day.

    I am sorry to inform you that our team has evaluated the request and has determined that it cannot be implemented at this time in Work Order Tracking. However, we are modernizing the user experience of Maximo, which includes a modernized data table where column personalization is a built-in feature, and available for users in the new role-based applications.

    If you would like to be involved in the features of the new role-based apps or other Maximo modernization efforts at IBM, please email smithjor@us.ibm.com to become part of our sponsored user group, which is a program where you and people in your organization become active participants in the Maximo design process, working alongside our design teams to help us create great future experiences for real target users.
