Prevent deleting attributes with launch points, or drop launch points when attributes are dropped

Maximo allows administrators and developers to drop custom attributes which have Automation Script Launch Points registered against them -- without even giving a warning. Thus, Maximo can be left with a referential integrity problem, and Integrity Checker won't catch that problem.

The only way this issue gets caught is when the object gets loaded by an application -- when an error is given to the user. This is not acceptable.

When the integrity of Maximo data is threatened by actions through the front-end, there is normally some kind of warning or error somewhere that the user is doing or has done something bad. This is no different.

I agree with Steven that a warning is likely to be ignored.
It needs a definite action or an error to prevent the delete occurring.

A useful extension would be to modify the integrity checker so that it checks for this problem.

I support it, but definitely think the appropriate "solution" is to remove the launch points for the automation script or throw an error. Just a warning I think will be disregarded by most users
