Flag to Identify that a Purchase Requisition (PR) was Generated by Reorder

System: 7.6.1

Description: Currently Maximo is configured to be able to run the reorder automatically via cron task or to run the reorder manually. When those are generated, the only thing that identifies that the PR was generated by reorder is via the description:

"Generated by reorder 11/8/19 10:48 AM."

Regularly, this description is changed to include other information or removed from the description.

Solution: When a PR is generated by reorder, use a checkbox to identify that it was generated by user or generated by cron task reorder

Many customers have workflows that are kicked off by Escalations against PRs or POs produced by Reorders. For the purchase records produced by the reorder process, there is often a different workflow. Having a "SOURCE" attribute, or even a "REORDER" flag, would help in those situations. In addition to the description, reorders could be generated by the Cron Task from a specific User, but it would still be better to have a specific data point rather than estimating based on the Created By User and the Description.

I can't support this RFE at this time. Can you help me why a) anyone is changing the description b) what is the business impact of not knowing that it was generated from a reorder?
