IBM does not support token license client for Z Linux

We have upgraded to MAXIMO Asset Management 7.6.1.1 to support the new token licensing. It was recommended to us by our IBM tech people to go to Z Linux, which we did. After porting from Windows 2012 R2 to Z Linux (s390-64) we got to the point where we needed to set up the license server and configure the Z Linux MAXIMO app server to talk to the license server. I installed and configured the "librcl_ibmratl.so" shared object library on our Z Linux app server but it did not work. I found out that the shared object library was for x86 architecture, not z linux. I submitted a case ticket to IBM per advisement from our IBM tech people. Their response was that Z Linux is not supported as a client for token licensing and that this would be considered an RFE. So why is IBM supporting MAM on Z Linux but not supporting client token licensing on Z Linux? Why didn't their tech folks know about this? We need the library to be compiled on Z Linux and provided to us.

There are no plans to implement this change in the Maximo Application Suite.
