Dynamic KPI support for Maximo

We would like for the ability to use KPI's dynamically across multiple organizations / sites. We do this with queries already by including this clause in the query:
siteid = (select defsite from maxuser where personid=:&personid& )

This way when a user at a site runs this query, it will automatically pick up their site and we don't need to duplicate queries for each site. However, on KPI's we have this problem and we can't use the same solution because the KPIMAIN table stores its value in a single database column on the table. If a single KPI was shared across multiple sites, one site would update the value, then another one would overwrite it.

Our proposal is that a separate KPI value table is created that would store a link to kpiname, kpi value, date of the value and orgid/site. This way a single KPI could be dynamically used across multiple sites and we wouldn't have to duplicate the exact same maintenance KPI for 10 different plants with only the SITEID changing.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Internet of Things
    Product family - Component
Product - Tivoli Process Automation Engine (TPAE)

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Component
Product - Tivoli Process Automation Engine (TPAE)

Management of KPI's has been greatly enhanced with Maximo 7.6, due out in Dec. 2014. A new KPI Template (admin app), allows for the use of dynamic attributes...site could be one of the dynamic variables and will greatly reduce the effort of creating/maintaining KPI's for each site.
