System: IBM Control Desk
Actor: All Users (Internal and External)
Case: TS004748404
We are using IBM Control Desk as our main ITSM solution with a strong focus on the Request Fulfilment and Incident Management components.
Due to the nature of the organization and security reasons, it was decided to establish multiple standalone HTTP Servers (one for internal users and one for external users in the DMZ) both linked to the same IBM Control Desk WebSphere Deployment Manager.
We have successfully configured this architecture. However, we are only facing one problem with the attachments that it is always set as static. We simply need an option to configure the DOCLINKS to a dynamic location (usually the link from which the user is accessing the system). Currently, the only option is to use a static URL which can only work with either internal or external users; but not both.
