This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

We propose adding the ability to create a new related work order without leaving the current work order within the Related Records tab. This would save time and reduce errors. Note that this functionality is already available on the Actuals tab in WOTRACK (i.e., clicking New Row adds a new WO with the next wonum in sequence); however, this does not create a related WO. Records created in this manner are WOACTIVITY.
Currently on the WOTRACK Related Records tab, users can select an existing work order to relate to the current work order, but they cannot create a new work order. In order to create a new related work order, the user must leave the current work order (using Create > Work Order or by selecting the New Record button or by clicking New Row and then navigating from there to WOTRACK to create a new record). None of the existing options are as streamlined as the process proposed here.
