Approve labor actuals right in WOTRACK

It would be helpful if we could approve labor actuals right in WOTRACK.

It's not possible to do that, since the "Approved?" checkbox is read-only in WOTRACK. There isn't a way to make the "Approved?" field editable via Application Designer.

Currently, the user needs to:

  1. Copy the WONUM.

  2. Navigate away from what the user was doing in WOTRACK by opening the Labor Reporting application.

  3. Search for the WONUM using Advanced Search

  4. Click the checkbox for the labor actual (opportunity for error; user might click the wrong labor actual).

  5. Click the Approve Labor action.

  6. Navigate back to WOTRACK.

  7. Open the WO.

  8. Continue what they were doing.


It's not clear why those steps are necessary. It would be much more efficient if the user could just approve the labor actual right in WOTRACK -- which is where they do all of their other work.
