Don't prevent edits in ad-hoc reports if ROS is modified

When a change is made to a report object structure (ROS):

The change will make any reports that used the ROS become un-editable.

It's quite a headache when an admin forgets about this limitation and makes a minor change to an ROS -- locking multiple ad-hoc reports from edits. It would be helpful if Maximo could be enhanced so that minor changes to an ROS don't break ad-hoc reports.

Examples of minor ROS changes:

  • A change the ROS description

  • Adding a new child object
