There is an exceptionally useful aggregation function in SQL called LISTAGG(). It can be used to aggregate a list of values together as a delimited string. And the values can be sorted alphabetically too.
Example:
select
listagg(objectname,', ') within group(order by objectname) as uw
from
classusewith
group by
classstructureid
Result:
'JOBPLAN, WOACTIVITY, WORKORDER'

Could IBM consider adding a function to Formulas that does the same thing as LISTAGG? (including sorting the values alphabetically)
That would be really helpful. There are cases in Maximo where we want to use MBR/Formulas, and can't use SQL. But currently, there isn't a way to achieve the aforementioned functionality via OOB formulas.
Example use case:
Aggregate related values from the "Many" side of a 1:M relationship into a single field...on the "1" side of the relationship.
