WOTRACK Advanced Search: Filter by total actuals cost (including task cost)

WOTRACK Advanced Search:

It would be helpful if users had a way to filter WOs by total actuals cost (including task cost).

Examples:

  • Find WOs where the total cost (incl. tasks) is negative

  • Find WOs where the total cost (incl. tasks) is zero

  • Find WOs where the total cost (incl. tasks) is positive

We're aware that the View Costs window shows similar information. But we can't filter WOs in the WOTRACK list view via that window, so it doesn't help us.

We're also aware that there is a non-persistent field in WORKORDER called ACTTOTALCOST. But that field doesn't include task costs. And the Search Type is NONE, so even if we wanted to use that field, it can't be used for filtering in the Advanced Search -- due to the Search Type not being EXACT.

    Thank you for your submission. As you state, this is a non-persistent field and there are no plans at this time to change the search behavior.
