Start Constraint Offset (PM / JOBPLAN.STCONOFFSET) and Finish Constraint Offset (PM / JOBPLAN.FNCONOFFSET) propagation to the Tasks

Attributes Start Constraint Offset (PM / JOBPLAN.STCONOFFSET) and Finish Constraint Offset (PM / JOBPLAN.FNCONOFFSET) are available in PM and JobPlan which when applied to the work order with target dates calculate a ‘Start No Earlier Than’ and’ Finish No Later Than’ date. This seems to work as designed at Header level WO.


Now what we are looking for is similar functionality to calculate ‘Start No Earlier Than’ and ‘Finish No Later Than’ date on the tasks of the WO that are generated. It would be helpful if there was option available on the JobTask to set the offset hours as needed.

    IBM had decided that any Idea that we would not be able to implement in a 12-month time frame would be marked as “Not under consideration”. Because this is a good Idea it did get promoted to our backlog as we didn’t want to lose it. Based on the feedback from customers like yourself IBM will allow us to keep this Idea even if it cannot be completed in the next year and change the status back to “Future consideration” to make it visible to our customers once again.

    This enhancement can be grouped with several others around improving Job Plan tasks for use with Maximo Scheduler including nested job plan dependencies and milestones on the task.
